It comes with cables that allow you to directly connect your FIVE HG heated gloves to the cigarette lighter or the battery terminals of your motorcycle. The cables come in two sections (a Y-shaped “rider” section that includes a 12 V > 7.4 V transformer, and a “motorcycle” section) that plug into each other. Supplied with two end caps (which are compatible with the cigarette lighter or the battery terminals, depending on what your motorcycle offers), the “motorcycle” cable, particularly if it’s connected to the battery termi- nals, can simply stay in place once it’s set up. In terms of the “rider” section, the cables, they are long enough to be placed inside each sleeve and along the body, coming out at the hemline of your jacket, without hindering your movements in the least when you’re at the controls. It easily connects to the gloves using the additional female socket integrated into each glove’s battery compartment. You then simply have to plug in the “rider” cable to the “motorcycle” cable, and you’ll be all set to face the cold without a second thought. The FIVE system has the advantage of keeping the batteries charged inside the gloves when they’re connected to the motorcycle using the cables. This is much more practical for connectivity, and this way, each battery gets recharged while you ride, giving you the freedom to keep the heating system operating, even when you get off your bike and step away from it to admire the view.
