Daytona Security Evo boots are a revolutionary safety shell motorcycle boot, developed as a result of many years of co-operation with leading Grand-Prix motorcycle racers. These professional class racing boots are made from a particularly high abrasion-resistant kangaroo-skin, and have wear-resistant reinforcing for gear change, aramid fibre anti-abrasion panels in the ankle zone and a special racing sole with extremely rounded heel. An aramid fibre hard shell covers the boots, with a solid hinged joint between shaft and foot and shock absorbing padding in ankle and heel areas and extra padding in the hard shell for shock absorption for added protection and to ensure a good fit. Other features of the boots include replaceable toe sliders secured with plastic screws, triple Kevlar weave in the toe area and a Kevlar stretch elastic zone, as well as a sweat-absorbing fine leather lining, anatomically formed bed for the foot with a rounded heel.
